The subtitle of this restaurant is 'King of Shellfish' so that lets you know what to order right away. The neighbourhood is a bit rough-and-ready, set between Gare St Lazare and the foot of Montmartre, but tourists, locals, execs and visitors from the countryside make their way here in flocks to sample the superb shellfish and seafood. This restaurant has been on site since 1925 and offers both a fun and fine dining experience. There are funky/smart banquetts, mirrors, paintings and etched glass windows and the staff zoom around like TGVs. Try starter of, oh, plate of fruits de mer, followed by whatever is fresh, possibly the stuffed shellfish with garlic butter, and followed by Grand Marnier souffle.
