Andrea, Marco and Giovanni claim their restaurant’s specialities were learnt directly from “Mama Italy”, whoever she might be. But regardless, they were certainly taking detailed notes in those lessons. Quickly becoming one of the Marais neighbourhood’s favourite Italian restaurants, Don Giovanni knows as much about how to perfect Italian classics like pizza and pasta as it does about convincing diners to count the likes of their beef fillet with cheese and cured ham in a mushroom and cream sauce as being amongst their favourite dishes from the region. Exposed beams and subdued lighting inside, or al fresco dining if you prefer watching La Marais go by, it’s easy to see why Don Giovanni is thriving.
