Situated just 200 meters from the Moulin Rouge, Gi’Raf derives its moniker from a portmanteau of the surnames of its two charming managers. Since 2008, Gilou and Raph have enthusiastically been welcoming diners to their bistro style restaurant, a homely establishment that combines both modernism and tradition in its menu of homemade French favourites with a sweet atmosphere of friendliness and warmth. The obvious joie de vivre and killer smiles of the management duo are infectious, and the attention to detail in Gi’Raf’s decor – candle lit tables, a dazzling central chandelier, and a large mirrored back wall – all goes to create an environment in which it’s very difficult to not have a great evening.
