Kim Anh restaurant deep in Paris’ 15th arrondissement has been inspiring dedicated food-lovers to make the journey to its doors for more than twenty years. This Vietnamese/Saigonese restaurant – and there are many in Paris thanks to the French colonial past – is one of the very best in the capital in which to enjoy this particular Asian cuisine with its delicate balances of sharp, spicy, sour and savoury. The waiters are happy to talk you through authentic, traditional dishes like caramelised langoustines and stuffed crabs prepared, as always, by Kim Anh herself. The wood-panelled restaurant feels luxurious and cosseting with full white table linen, fresh flowers and plenty of attention.
