Residents of Montmartre like to keep Le Doudingue close to their chest. The bric-a-brac décor and Moroccan-ish cosy café vibe may not make you expect one of Paris’s best cocktail lists, but that’s what’s here - from on-the-money mojitos and mai thais to over 30 martinis. The almost grand main dining room has an upstairs section with tables and terrific views of the entire room, while downstairs has comfy Oriental-themed banquettes where groups can chill out. Le Doudingue’s kitchen serves up inventive international food like seared langoustine with coriander, pressé de foie gras with artichoke heart, and a stellar Sunday brunch (perfect with a Bloody Mary on the side).
