Time Out says

Can sewing be a sociable experience? This is the question that induced the creative duo Morgann and Aïssatou to leave their respective jobs in July 2012 and open Brin de cousette. The answer, as this haberdashery boutique-cum-workshop demonstrates, is a resounding yes. Shopping is almost secondary to the venue’s social remit – to serve as a forum for sewing aficionados to meet, discuss technique, swap items or simply chat over a glass of juice. Whether you’re an expert looking to dispense wisdom or a novice in dire need of some tuitions, there’ll be something for you among the various events and workshops (which range in price from €18 to €60 for 1 to 3hrs). The confident can simply rent a sewing machine and spin out a scarf on their lonesome. Thanks to the affable, welcoming direction of the two owners, Brin de cousette is a real gem.
