The work of this Paris-trained American designer has real intellectual heft to it, but you only have to touch the silky soft cotton and wool jersey from Japan to want his finely crafted, beautifully conceived tunics, skirts and jackets. Luxurious leather bags and jewellery from designers including Théodora Gabrielli, alias Dorothée, who patiently creates new pieces while serving in the shop, are also on display.
