Jones + Jones (CLOSED)

Who says the British can't dress? Well, the French, for one – though they'll eat their words when they clap eyes on Jones + Jones. A branch of the popular London-based designer, it specialises in elegant, reasonably priced evening dresses (from €60 for a skirt to €99 for something a bit more sophisticated). This in itself is a somewhat radical concept in the haughty world of Parisian fashion; rest assured that the low prices are are not due to cheap material but rather to a partnership with Topshop, who stock the brand in the UK. But it's the dresses that seal the deal: their retro style, replete with sequins, tulle and v-necks, has proved a massive draw both here and in Saint Tropez, where Jones + Jones opened a sister branch in 2013.
