Librairie Parallèles

Parallèles is possibly better known as a record store than a bookshop, with its stands stuffed with CDs and vinyl as well as music books and fanzines. Avoid the latest overpriced releases at Fnac and come here instead, where you can find brand new albums still in their wrappings at half the price. Dominated by rock, the stock is regularly refreshed thanks to the regulars taking away stacks of CDs and people coming in to sell and exchange their collections.

Even though there’s not much choice of electronic or experimental music, Parallèles still covers most bases, defending the idea of making culture accessible to all budgets.
