Time Out says

Explore rare furnishings and hipster outfits (all carefully selected by the eponymous owner) at this flourishing boutique.

This Pigalle boutique manages to stand out from the growing number of chic gift shops in the area by offering a vast array of original items sourced from all over the world. It’s all the work of Adrien Poisson (hence ‘Mr Fish’), who has made it his mission to unearth unusual pieces (both clothes and furnishings) never found before in France.

Appealing to tourists and locals alike, the shop is never empty. Adrien and head of sales Aurélie have done a lot with their small space, fitting it out tastefully and dividing it up according to theme. On one side, there’s a display stand covered in lights, including those trendy, Thomas Edison-style filament lamps you now see flickering in nearly every Parisian bar. On the other side, superior kitchen utensils hang from the walls.

Clothes wise, the general theme is streetwear. The shop is particularly good for men, who will be thrilled to find all kinds of hipster attire, from underwear and clothes to obscure shaving gadgets and fashionable Jason Markk ‘sneaker care’ kits. Fans of skateboarding will also feel at home in a section dedicated to boards and a variety of other accessories, while children have their own little area too. There’s a great assortment of stuff here, but the prices are steep (a lamp, for example, will set you back between €90 and €200). If you’re on a budget, it may be best to hunt down a small souvenir rather than a full-sized gift.
