The newly redesigned Berges is a pedestrianised stretch of the Left Bank between the Eiffel Tower and the Louvre that's full of activities. Walls for climbing and sketching along with games like hopscotch fill the stretch of  riverbank. The industrial-chic décor makes the whole place feel like a loading dock, complete with lumberyard-like benches and renovated cargo crates that double as private hangouts called "Zzz" if you choose to reserve one in advance. They even have board games in the containers to keep the kids occupied in a closed space. Take-away restaurants and cafés keep everyone satiated, while the kids can partake in one of the many scheduled activities found on their website, including running and craft workshops.
