The black-and-white decor of this smart designer hotel is a backdrop for the models, artists and media types in the lounge bar area; splashes of colour come from conceptual artist Fabrice Hybert. The 26 rooms all have granite bathrooms, and the starched white furniture slipcovers, changed after each guest, make the smallish spaces seem larger than they are. The dimmer switches are a nice touch – as are the lift lights swiftly changing colour as you pass each floor.
