Kube Rooms & Bars

The younger sibling of the Murano is more affordable design hotel, with a lounge atmosphere and the city’s first ice bar. Like the Murano, the Kube also sits behind an unremarkable façade in an unlikely neighbourhood, in this case La Goutte d’Or. Once they get past security, visitors step into the courtyard of a 19th-century building. Within, a solitary glass cube houses the hotel’s reception desk. Upstairs, the Ice Kube bar serves a range of vodkas in glasses that, like the furnishings, are carved from ice. Fortunately for serious drinkers, access to the hotel’s 41 rooms – with cool details such as beds lit from underneath – is gained by fingerprint technology.
