The Globe has retained much of its 17th-century character – and very pleasant it is, too. Gothic wrought-iron doors lead into florid corridors, and an unexplained suit of armour supervises guests from a post in the miniature salon. The rooms with baths are a bit bigger than those with showers and there is a four-poster bed to be had as well. All 14 rooms were completely renovated in 2004. Take care on the small, winding staircase.
