Painter Eugène Delacroix moved to this apartment/studio in 1857 to be near the Eglise St-Sulpice, where he was painting murals. The Louvre and Musée d’Orsay house his major canvas works, but here includes small oil paintings, pastel studies, sketches and lithographs, as well as his palette.
