Le Rostand has a truly wonderful view of the Jardin du Luxembourg from its classy interior, decked out with oriental paintings, a long mahogany bar and wall-length mirrors. It’s a terribly well-behaved place, and the drinks list is stuffed with whiskies and cocktails, pricey but not as steep as the brasserie menu also available.
