This marvellous rock ’n’ roll bar is the best you’ll find on bar-lined rue Jean-Pierre-Timbaud. Stuffing bursts out of the bar stools, skip-salvage chairs accompany wobbly tables of ill-matched colours; an old radiogram is tucked away in the back. And as black-palmed mechanics clutch the first, welcome cold Kro of the day, music-savvy Frenchettes giggle and gossip.
