With dripping candelabras on every table, the look is polished and flirty – as are the staff. Starters include mesclun salads with toasted hazelnuts, one with a crispy st-marcellin brik. They’re followed by the special of the night, perhaps a buttery rabbit with thyme, or tender leg of lamb. Desserts here are too good to miss; you should try a lime sorbet with vodka or the vanilla ice-cream with a red fruit coulis. The ambitious wine list is strong on Graves and Gaillacs.
