Brimming with gilt and red velvet, this opera house is a monument to the Second Empire. The auditorium seats 2,000 people, and the exterior is just as grand, with sculptures of music and dance, Apollo on the dome and nymphs bearing torches. The Grand Foyer has been magnificently restored.
