Tucked discreetly amid the street façades, the island’s church was constructed between 1664 and 1765, following plans by Louis Le Vau and later completed by Gabriel Le Duc. The interior follows the classic baroque model, with Corinthian columns and a sunburst over the altar, and is also used as a venue for classical music concerts.
