D’Chez Eux

2 av de Lowendal, 7th

D’Chez Eux is friendly and comfortingly provincial; its menu is an archetype of a certain traditional French cuisine. Start with the salad trolley, which includes plump fresh anchovies and delicious, long-cooked pearl onions, or the equally tempting range of charcuterie. Mains include a guinea fowl grand-mère, served in a copper pan and carved at the table on its bed of potatoes, bacon and mushrooms.

A Fabulous traditional french evening. The restaurant has been there for 40 years and some of the wait staff have 20 plus years service. This is traditional heavy french food from the Dordogne and its wonderful if you like meat. We went for a birthday dinner, recommended by the concirege from our hotel. We were not disappointed and had the full three course ensemble. Fois Gras was superb and the charcuterie trolly amazing. Duck breast and leg for the main was exceptional and the sweet trolley to die for, especially the peaches in mint water. I highly recommend this if you want the full on french experience.
