Hospitel Hôtel Dieu review
If the thought of sleeping in a working hospital doesn't put you off (half the rooms here are used by families of the Hôtel Dieu hospital's in-patients and staff), you can stay in one of 14 recently renovated, spotless rooms with colourful contemporary decor, right in the middle of Ile de la Cité in front of Notre-Dame. A medical smell is present but not strong, bathrooms are quite large, and you couldn't ask for a better sightseeing base.
