A subsidiary event of George Town World Heritage Inc. Resource Centre's 'Books of the Month' programme, this latest session welcomes author Toh Teong Chuan and his book 'Hokkien Nursery Rhymes in Old Penang'. A known collector of traditional Hokkien rhymes, he will share various types of dialect rhymes, their characteristics and values, how and why rhymes are collected and edited, as well as the challenges involved in collecting data for publication. This session will be conducted in Mandarin.
