A ballet, cool party and how about watching the sunset while you savour a barbecue feast? It’s all happening in Penang this weekend.

Ballet Illuminations, until May 17
Singapore Dance Theatre presents a compilation of Allegro Brillante by George Balanchine, Absense of Story by Toru Shimazaki and Zin! by Nils Christe, which highlights the versatility and gracefulness of the revered dance. The performance is at penangpac and tickets are RM43 each.

Seaside Barbecue, May 17
Pinang Restaurant within Rasa Sayang Resort and Spa has the prettiest sunset view. So, be there by 6.30pm to enjoy their barbecue at RM108++ and indulge in barbecued meats such as lamb and seafood such as slipper lobster and fish. There's also live cooking stations and perfect for those looking for kosher or halal char koay teow, this is the place for it! Music on the Fiddles, May 18
Conductor Ng Choong Yen will lead PPO's string chamber group who will play compositions by Antonio Vivaldi, Peter Warlock, Edvard Greig, Antonín Dvořák, Joseph Haydn and Jean Sibelius for you. It’s happening at 3pm in The Philharmonic at The Star and free admission to all with prior registration.

Project Occupy Beach Street, May 18
From 7am Lebuh Pantai will be closed from traffic and there are family-friendly activities such as music performances, street soccer, skateboarding with a street market too!
