Lebuh Carnarvon

Also known as Lebuh Carnarvon, this four-laned road links George Town's narrow heritage streets to larger, wider roads such as Magazine Road, which will lead you to 1st Avenue Mall and KOMTAR. Previously occupied by rows of book shops and casket makers in the past, the road is now brimming with local coffee shops, serving an array of Chinese hawker fare. A quick meal of Hokkien mee, wanton mee and economy rice is a lunch customary among the hardworking crowds of the area.
