While there are myriad methods to get to the peak of Penang Hill, the easiest and most scenic way is to hop aboard the train. It takes just five minutes to reach the top in a comfortable air conditioned coach. If you're keen on breaking a sweat, however, put on your hiking shoes and scale the hill on foot. The well-marked trails and nature make it worthwhile. Once at the top, you'll find a viewing deck, a mosque, a temple, a food court, souvenir stands, an eclectic owl museum and other curiosities.
