Time Out says

All the culinary heritage of Jawi Peranakan, Indian-Muslim, Arabian, European Muslim, Indonesian and Chinese Muslim will be featured here through local associations and small-scale women enterprises in Penang. It will be a seven-hour feast from nasi pengantin, ketupat, roti, pulut, kuuih, nasi melayu to exotic Malay drinks and desserts. It's a plastic-free event, please do bring along your own recyclable bags.

For an insight on the Muslim culinary heritage, check our review of the book 'Feasts of Penang' by Wazir Jahan Karim.
