Each curry boasts a complex mix of hand-ground spices laboriously cooked for hours to produce a delicate balance of fragrance, fire and flavour. But if you can only stomach one spicy item, go for the beef. Soft, tender and cooked in a rich gravy that’s a cross between curry and sweet black sauce, the meat is as flavourful as the spiciest curries at half the heat factor. Definitely worth the long wait.
