Malabar Inn, while less of an inn as it is a set of eight rooms for affordable accommodation on the second floor, is an extension of the Malabar Restaurant. The restaurant serves Thai food with Nyonya influences, as evident in its bestsellers, the steamed pumpkin with coconut milk custard, the Malabar belanda eggs, the asam pedas ikan and the otak-otak. The restaurant is decorated in a classic blackand- white-chic colour scheme, exuding and especially comfortable aura when the light pours in through the windows.
