Time Out says
Amelie Café has ceased operations until further notice.
Its brown door entrance is overtaken by well tended leafy plants. Amidst the lush green leaves, a wooden sign handpainted in white says 'Amelie cafe'. The young couple, Hong and Yen, who started this little restaurant had built each and every piece of furniture that shape the eatery's rustic, quaint interior of six tables and accompanying stools. Pieces of art painted by Hong adorn its walls. The small menu written on a blackboard high above the kitchen counter states delicious meals of creamy pasta laboriously prepared one order at a time, bagel sandwich and a small selection of salad dishes from RM10 to RM24. On another board lists their desserts and this varies from week to week. Their drinks menu, however, offers thirst-quenching freshly blended ice-blended juices at RM10 and favourites are their banana and passionfruit mix, along with the lychee mint. There are the normal varieties of freshly brewed coffees that are as good as those from an Italian cafe! Su Aziz
