A morning at the Temples on Waterfall Road
On Jalan Kebun Bunga, or what used to be the Waterfall Road, are three rather large, prominent Indian temples that add colour and melodious rings of bells at least once a day as you drive towards the Botanical Garden at the end of this street. And on Thaipusam day, Jan 27, the temples will be in the limelight as the vel kavadi procession heads toward its last destination, the Balathandayuthapani temple on the hill. Su Aziz spends a morning in each one of them, observing and photographing mid-morning rituals and prayer before the temple doors close at middayUpdated: 21 Jan 2013
