Bora Bora
Time Out says
Go for some simple outdoor fun at this beach location where the cocktails flow liberally and the beach boys play with fire (poi sticks, just so you know). If you find yourself by the bar, you will be surrounded by fairy lights, tiki huts and various ‘tropical jungle’ paraphernalia – it’s a bit much, but we like the hokeyness. Parties extend well into the night so remember to put your flip-flops where you can find them later.
There's an area of the bar that's right on the beach with a few tables and chairs on the sand. There's a terrific and fun tropical island ambience in this place and after the sun sets, candles are lit on all the tables, adding romance to the feel of the place.
Food wise, their menu consists of comfort foods such as pizzas, pastas and a few local dishes such as sardine fried rice. Their 8-inch Mexicano pizza is loaded with gooey cheese and pieces of salami at RM15.90++ while their aglio olio pasta may not be the best on the block but it is satisfying enough at RM15.90++ too and is enough to fill two people. Anchor beer is RM10++ a bottle while a bottle of house wine is RM80++. This place is probably the most value for money in terms of drinks in Batu Ferringhi. Su Aziz
