Echoing its name, the place does serve up your meal in record time and at very reasonable prices. Their set lunch menu from RM12.90++ kicks off by 10:30am and consists of either Siam noodles, nasi lemak basil fried rice or Thai carbonara and comes with an iced tea.
The set menus of RM16.90++ and RM18.90++ prove to be terrific value since they each include a fried chicken, Thai mango salad and a small bowl of tom yam soup. The Thai green curry choice from this menu selection comes in a good-sized portion of thick, creamy gravy that drowns a large number of boneless chicken pieces. There’s a nice level of tingling spiciness to the dish and perfect with the aromatic rice they serve along with it. For a small addition of RM3, a choice of dessert is thrown in too.
Their ala carte menu of Thai cuisine has starters from RM8.90++ right up to RM39.90++ for whole sea bass or red snapper main dish. For a noodle dish, their tom yam noodle soup comes in coconut milk based gravy with rice noodles and seafood such as prawns and squids. It’s quite a large portion and the soup is rather addictive.
Flavour wise, there’s an adequate amount of authenticity to each dish and spicy enough to please the Malaysian discerning palate. Being a shopping mall dining outlet, the ambience is not one of leisure or luxury but instead, it is of efficiency and low-maintenance simplicity. Nevertheless, it is the consistent flavour and quality of their food that has kept them popular with the locals here. Not to mention their adept wait staff too! Su Aziz
