Directed by Sylvain Chomet, this animated comedy follows a has-been illusionist who is slowly losing his employment and popularity in Paris. To revive his career, he moves to London and continues to perform in bars, cafes and private parties. It is through one of his performances, he meets a girl named Alice who invites him to a Scottish island, believing that he has supernatural powers. Although this film will be screened in French with English subtitles, this is an almost silent film.
