Bridges & Kaki Lima is a George Town Festival commissioned dance project that inspires the revival of classic street performances that we once know and love. The dance will echo the vibrant and playful spirit of our capital, George Town while bridging the dissimiliarities between our neighbouring countries: Malaysia, Indonesia and Singapore. As the name suggests, this old school revival will take their performance to the streets and kaki lima (five foot ways in Malay). Dance route begins at Penang Youth Centre in Lebuh Acheh.
