George Town Festival 2014: Two Houses

 Part of the SIN-PEN Colony, a pop-up festival celebrating the shared heritage of Singapore and Penang, this play is an epic tale of make believe, spun from the imagination of a listener of two old, elite Penang families' fables and research. Through the performance, the audience will disregard what is fact or fiction as they move from room to room in the Soonstead Mansion. Set against the backdrop of the Second World War and the Emergency, here is the tale of love and losses of those who saw the evolution of Penang, and her identity.
