Malabar to Malaya through the Eyes of S.K. Pottekkatt

Take a trip from Malabar to Malaya through the writings of Indian travel writer S.K. Pottekkatt. Largely regarded for his firm ideals of social commitment and individualistic approach, his literary and travel works has been famously translated into different languages across the globe. In conjunction with the Kopi Conversations series, this talk will follow Pottekkatt's trail to the Malabar-Malaya region and his experience with meeting the people of Malayali who became settlers of the place. Admission is free for this talk but prior registration is encouraged for entry.
