Grab your picnic mats – there's a food fest coming to town. Happening alongside the Penang leg of the Men's Health Women's Health Night Run, Penang Food Village will feature ten food and drink stalls. You can expect refreshing coconut ice cream from Sangkaya, Mexican food from Curbside Cantina, and spicy ayam goreng kunyit from Mat Rock. Other vendors include Lokka Café, The Ice Cream Truck, D’Loovi’s at 86 Love Lane, Marvellous Juice, Ghee Hiang MFG, The Healthy Food People and Sky Thomas Food. All food vendors are pork-free while many are halal certified.
Food aside, there will also be a live music stage featuring musician Kien Lim and Penang singer/songwriter Daniel C. Headlining the live sessions is DJ Patricia K who will be spinning till late. Do look out for the Somersby Bar, where ice cold ciders are available at only RM10 per bottle (or RM18 for two bottles).
