Penang World Music Festival returns to the spotlight, promising two nights of world music splendour, heart-thumping and vivacious drum beats. With this year's lineup including Mu, Kimi Djabate, Nasout, Alp Bora Quartet, Saharadja, Inka Marka, Kalayo, Dagaya, Dende and Band as well as homegrown talents Akasha and Rimba, the stage is set to excite ardent fans of this traditional and contemporary tunes.
