Ramayana

The Ramayana is one of the colossal monuments of Indian classical literature, and has had a profound influence on Southeast Asian theatre. In this Cantonese opera version, the story of Prince Rama, Princess Sita and the ten-headed monster Rawana is retold in the colourful stylised manner of classical Cantonese Opera. This Cantonese opera version of the Ramayana is adapted by the Nanning City Theatre Academy, China.
