'Talking through walls: How the struggle to build a mosque united a community' is an inspirational film about a devout Muslim American named Zia Rahman who goes before the Zoning Board of his hometown, New Jersey, armed with plans of building a mosque in the neighbourhood. What he least expect was a series of hostility and intolerance received from his community. As the story unfolds, the interfaith leaders of South Jersey take notice and come together to show how peace can be achieve through simple acts of tolerance and compromise. This free film screening is also accompanied with a dialogue with filmmaker and founding president of Unity Productions Foundation, Michael Wolfe. Prior registration is advised.
