Majoring mostly in recent Czech films, usually without English subtitles, this old-time movie palace has had a considerable facelift, with comfortable new seats and a full-service bar for ticket-holders. In an interesting twist, the bar uses furniture left over from a liquor company's advertising campaign, while the fairly comfortable seats in the theatre were recycled from the now-shuttered original Galaxie. When not showing new Czech titles, recent art hits and better Hollywood films fill the schedule.
