Contrary to what its name suggests, this is no half-timbered cottage with a flaxen-haired shepherdess tending the hearth. It's actually a bare-bones, institutional-looking pension, but the staff are friendly and the prices reasonable. Oddly, there's 10% off for aviators (the management runs a flying school). The hotel is located in the heart of Žižkov's pavement café district; breakfast is included.
