Muzeum Hlavního mêsta Prahy review

Antonín Langweil spent 11 years during the early 1800s building an incredibly precise, room-sized paper model of Prague. Now this museum's prize exhibit, it's the only complete depiction of what the city looked like before the Jewish ghetto was ripped down. Other displays follow the city's development from pre-history through to the 17th century, with some English labels provided in the rooms devoted to medieval and later events. The upstairs galleries host temporary exhibitions and the original of the Josef Mánes painting reproduced inside the Old Town Hall's Astronomical Clock tower.
