Shows in the 2,764-capacity hall of the Congress Centre always feel a bit odd, thanks to the ghosts of its former life as the locus of Communist Party congresses. Still, even when seated on outsized auditorium chairs designed for bureaucratic backsides, you're likely in for a remarkable show: BB King, Tom Waits, Lou Reed and Björk have all played here. Many touches of Old Guard faux cool still remain - the bar areas, for one thing, are a wonder.
