Stately and commanding, this former parliament building is one of Europe's finest concert venues. It was built in the neoclassical style at the end of the 19th century, and has two halls: the Dvořák Hall, for orchestral works and major recitals, and the Suk Hall, for chamber, instrumental and solo vocal music. Opinion is divided about the acoustics of the former, but the grandeur of the building's interior and the high standard of musicianship make an evening here eminently worthwhile.
