Prague's surprisingly interesting Police Museum resides in a former convent attached to the Karlov Church. The final room of the museum contains an arsenal of home-made weaponry that would please James Bond: sword sticks, makeshift pistols, pen guns and even a lethal lighter. Beforehand, in the section on crime detection techniques, you can take your own fingerprints or try to reconstruct events at a creepy scene-of-the-crime mock-up. Children love it, though parents are warned that some of the photographs are quite graphic. Most of the texts, unfortunately for visitors from abroad, are in Czech.
