On a curving little backstreet near Kampa Island, Bar Bar has been a local secret for years. The open sandwiches, salads and grill dishes will pass, but the savoury crěpes are the real highlights. Run by a group of artists and animators, this cellar bar and restaurant serves a host of savoury pancakes, plus English-style dessert ones with lemon and sugar. Waiters are reasonably flexible about substitutions.
