Still a lunch and brunch fave after all these years, American-owned and -outfitted Jáma has kept the loud college vibe that made its name, drawing Czech scenesters by day and young business types by night. Lunch specials and happy-hour deals are a big pull, as is the Czech-Mex menu. There's a prime patio space and a children's playground out back, and a bank of internet terminals by the door.

The weekend breakfasts are my favourtite dishes. Anytime. That and the cold beer in the garden.

Had the best of all my meals in Prague here. Chicken steak with cheese and ham plus chips for 95 kc. Add on a cup of tea and that's as cheap a quality lunch as you can have in the city centre. I will be going back every lunchtime this week.

Jama The Hollow. American-owned. American Football. American-style burgers. Jack Daniels. American expats at the bar.
However, the place is full of Czechs. A sure sign of a good bar in the city centre.
The beer is cheap and the food is great value.
Happy times spent chatting with the local girls and the beautiful staff

What can i say? Just the best pub in the city centre. There are more Czechs than most places in the centre which for me is a sign of good prices and value for money.
Jama has three different bars now. But the original has THE location. Right off the main drag. Wenceslas Square...which is actually an long avenue.
It's opposite Rocky O'Reilly's Irish pub. Which is okay to catch up with news from home or a sporting event. But give me Jama and it's famous burger or wings anyday.,

Just had the most wonderful Christmas in Prague and most of it was spent at Jama. Most bars and restaurants stay closed for 2 days but Jama carries on delivering the goods. Including the most delicious Christmas lunch. Turkey on the Czech Christmas,24th and Duck on the 25th. Beautiful. The girls working really made it special.
Thank you Jama!

Being an American i had to try out the American-owned Jama bar. I was so glad i did. We watched the Sunday Night Football match, i am a huge Cowboys fan. We ate huge cheese and bacon burgers and the best Czech beer we've ever tasted. I think it was Lobko. We will be visiting again.

Jama is by far and away the best bar/restaurant in the centre of town if you're in need of an expat/Czech/tourist mix with a great atmosphere and at good prices. The girls working are perfect at their jobs. You always feel at home. I really recommend this place.
