Starbucks review 2 Users say 4/5 Rate it

The first Czech beachhead of the global chain has proved a hit with tourists and locals seeking a branded coffee experience; particularly members of the nearby Czech parliament, who think it's the height of cool to tote a coffee thermos with a Starbucks logo on it. Most other residents are staying well clear, despite the fluffy muffins and early opening hours.

My husband and I visited this venue on 19 August. I had hoped to use my Starbucks card to pay for coffees and Prague Cake. They would not accept the card, although it was advertised in leaflets on every table. I was under the impression that I could use it in Europe, and that the amount would be deducted in local currency. Could anyone explain?
